About the Races...
RACE 1 -His Church:
Maranatha Holistic Gospel Fellowship
Project 1
Complete the upgrade of bathrooms. It was so important to Laurence that the facilities at this place of worship be of the highest quality for the members and guests.
Project 2
Repaint and rennovate the front fascade and landscape of the church. It was Laurence's desire that, at a glance, his church looked as inviting from the outside as the Holy Spirit that dwelled on the inside.
RACE 2 - His Home:
Project 1
Complete the sunroom and deck. Laurence had a vision that this space be the space of reflection, prayer, and fellowship for his family and friends.
Project 2
Complete upgrades to Laurence's wife's (Barbara) beauty salon. Laurence always saw Barbara's work in her salon as a major part of her ministry to the individuals and families she served in this space. Barbara's salon is like the 'kitchen' of many homes - the place for gathering, sharing, and fellowship. It was his hearts desire that this space be more conducive for the ministry and fellowship that occurred there and to get this done for the woman (wife) he loved so dearly.
